Disney's Pop Century Resort
Pop Century is the cheapest Disney room with a direct connection to two parks, which makes it punch far above its tier.
30-Second Verdict
Book Pop Century if you are four people or fewer, you want to stay on Disney property and EPCOT or Hollywood Studios feature in your week. Skip it if you need a room for five or six, or if your itinerary is mostly Magic Kingdom, where a bus resort nearer that park serves you better.

Location and park fit
Pop Century has its own Disney Skyliner station, on the line that reaches the EPCOT International Gateway and Disney's Hollywood Studios. That is a Deluxe-grade transport position at a Value resort rate.
Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom are reached by Disney bus, which is ordinary.
Rooms and family fit
Standard rooms sleep four and are small, plain and perfectly adequate. There are no family suites here, which is the main difference from Art of Animation next door.
Transport and mobility
Skyliner to two parks, buses to the other two. The Skyliner queues before park opening and stops running in lightning, so have a bus plan for a stormy evening.
Park benefits
Early Theme Park Entry every morning as a Disney resort guest, and free transport to all four parks.
Disney sets which hotels qualify for Early Theme Park Entry and Extended Evening Theme Park Hours, and has changed both. Confirm the current rules on the official Walt Disney World site before booking for a benefit.
Pool and rest-day fit
Three pools, none of which is a reason to stay in. This is a hotel for sleeping between park days.
Cost beyond the room
No theme park parking for resort guests, and historically no Disney resort fee. Food is a court rather than restaurants, which keeps the eating budget lower than at the Deluxe resorts.
You get the best transport per dollar on Disney property and a small, loud, basic room. For a family who will be out of it from eight in the morning until ten at night, that is exactly the right trade.

Common questions
Does Pop Century have the Skyliner?
Yes, with its own station on the line to the EPCOT International Gateway and Disney's Hollywood Studios.
Do Pop Century rooms sleep 5?
No. Standard rooms are published for four and there are no family suites. Art of Animation next door has suites for six.
Is Pop Century worth it over an off-site hotel?
On a Disney-only trip without a car, usually yes. Early Theme Park Entry, free transport and no theme park parking together close most of the gap to a cheaper off-site room.
