What the Disney Springs Resort Area designation means

These hotels sit inside the Walt Disney World property boundary on Hotel Plaza Boulevard, but Disney does not own or run them. The designation gives them a Disney address, a location within walking distance of Disney Springs, and a set of guest benefits that Disney defines and has changed more than once.

What it does not give them is Disney's own transport system. Each hotel runs its own shuttle to the theme parks on its own timetable, which is a genuinely different product from a Disney resort bus.
