Disney's Art of Animation Resort
Art of Animation is the answer to the single most common Disney hotel question: where do six people sleep without paying Deluxe rates?
30-Second Verdict
Book Art of Animation if your party is five or six and you want to stay on Disney property. The family suites and the Skyliner together are not available anywhere else at this price. Skip it if you are adults without children, because the theming and the noise level are relentless.

Location and park fit
Art of Animation shares a Skyliner station area with Pop Century, on the line to the EPCOT International Gateway and Hollywood Studios. Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom are by bus.
Rooms and family fit
The family suites are the reason this resort exists. They sleep six, have a separate bedroom, a kitchenette and two bathroom areas, at a rate far below a Deluxe room that would not fit the party anyway.
There are standard rooms for four in one wing, which are ordinary Value rooms.
Transport and mobility
Skyliner to two parks and buses to the other two. The Skyliner queue before opening is real, and the gondolas stop in lightning.
Park benefits
Early Theme Park Entry every morning, free Disney transport to all four parks and no theme park parking charge.
Disney sets which hotels qualify for Early Theme Park Entry and Extended Evening Theme Park Hours, and has changed both. Confirm the current rules on the official Walt Disney World site before booking for a benefit.
Pool and rest-day fit
Three pools, the largest of which is the Big Blue Pool. They are busy and cheerful rather than restful, which fits the guest this resort is designed for.
Cost beyond the room
No theme park parking. The kitchenette in the suites covers breakfast, which on a week-long trip with six people is a meaningful saving over a food court every morning.
You get a room that fits six people on Disney property at close to Value pricing, and you accept a resort that is loud, crowded and themed entirely for young children.
